Work-life balance is a myth. Research shows that working mothers experience unique guilt, loneliness and pressure as they attempt to manage it all. But research also tells us that it is about quality over quantity – and building a supportive and nurturing relationship with your child can be done with any schedule. Come learn in a safe and non-judgmental environment, supported by other working moms, where we can dive into the science and share the practical tools to implement right now – so you can feel less overwhelmed, more in tune with the needs of your child, and show up for your child and yourself in the ways that actually matter.

About Mariel Benjamin:
Mariel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience at Mount Sinai Medical Center working with families and children. She received her B.A. and B.S. summa cum laude from Northwestern University and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University. In addition to serving as the Program Director at the Mount Sinai Parenting Center, she is on faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in both the Departments of Environmental
Medicine and Public Health, and Pediatrics. She has been leading small parent education groups for the last 10 years. Mariel is the Director of Groups at Cooper, and mom to 2 young children.
