What’s Happening?
2021 is in the bag! This year we collectively cemented working from home as our daily lives. We understood the importance of balance, organizing our time, and most importantly the meaning of physical interactions with our family, friends, and other humans in general. We also now have the flexibility to invite strangers into our homes from all over the world via our phones and computers and it feels like nothing out of the ordinary.
For the community of Six Degrees Society, this year will be remembered by cultivating close friendships, creating life-changing partnerships, flourishing into authenticity, and most importantly welcoming the youngest member of SDS into the world, baby Hill.
We invite you to celebrate the wonderful moments of 2021 with us and to welcome 2022 with open minds and many valuable connections.

About Emily Merrell:
I’m Chief Networker and Founder of Six Degrees Society. People also (lovingly) refer to me as “20 questions” because I’ve always loved figuring out people’s stories. While working in the fashion industry, I dreamt up a place where individuals could come together from all industries, all backgrounds and show up who they are — unapologetically. Nothing makes me happier connecting people who could mutually make each other’s lives more enjoyable.
In addition to Six Degrees Society, I also work with companies, founders, and solopreneurs who are looking to build a strong community of their own, plan events that inspire and develop partnerships that move the needle.
