Six Degrees Society Presents Tackling Imposter Syndrome With Rebecca Kronman

  • M. Gemi 120 Wooster Street New York, NY, 10012 United States (map)

Ever get that feeling that you're moments away from being "outed" as an inexperienced amateur?

Imposter syndrome is an issue that, because of socialization, disproportionately affects women, especially those in their first few years of the workforce.

This workshop will help you discover where and how the syndrome shows up for you, recognize what kinds of thought patterns reinforce it and help you adjust them. We'll talk about making small tweaks in your thinking and your body to help you feel better and more confident, explore your skill sets and learn how to present them unapologetically. You'll walk away with simple techniques to help you kick the syndrome and keep kicking ass.

Key takeaways include:

-Learn about imposter syndrome and how it works in the brain
-Understand how imposter syndrome affects your thinking
-Discover new ways to present your skill sets in the workforce
-Implement body and self-talk techniques to change thought patterns about your capabilities
