Event Title: Six Degrees Society Digital Presents: Grammar Jammers: Avoiding the Top 10 Language Pitfalls So You Sound Smart in Your Writing with Jessie Rothwell
What’s Happening? Join writer and copywriter Jessie Rothwell to tackle the most common problems found in writing on the web, from blog posts to email marketing to news articles and beyond. Even word-nerds mess up sometimes, but we’ll discuss how to make sure your message gets across. There’s that Coco Chanel quote: “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.” It’s the same with writing: if your writing is peppered with grammar errors, people remember THAT, but if your writing is clean and clear, people remember the MESSAGE. Come get some knowledge, play some language games, and listen to Jessie’s bad jokes.
Curated Matches: Before we sit down for our programming, each guest will engage in two curated 15 minute connection, handpicked just for them, based on bios submitted pre-event via this form: https://goo.gl/forms/D8Tvyr3ygwPSwaGF2 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy.
