What’s Happening? For many people, the holidays bring too much fun, too much food, and too much booze. January can be the perfect time to embrace a new you— but a dry month isn’t limited to the first month of the year. In fact, you can start whenever!

Hilary will offer tips, tricks and advice, during an interactive discussion, which includes how to make a plan, sharing the news with friends and family, and getting back on track if you slip up and have a drink (or two).

Why participate in a dry month? We’ll talk about…

  • “What You’ll Gain When You Lose the Booze” + other positive side effects—money and time saved, and a deep dive into the health benefits, as well as statistics that indicate adults spend two years of their lives hungover.
  • Bonding with friends, a.k.a. Your “Sober Month Support Squad”— how to enlist friends (or colleagues) for support and combat social pressures from our current drinking culture.
  • Discovering fun, non-boozy activities everyone can participate in (whether you’re bonding with friends or networking) — not to mention: what dating without drinks looks like (hint: there are major benefits).
