Event Title: Six Degrees Society SF Presents Expect The Unexpected: An Intimate Panel on Bay Area Emergency Preparedness in Partnership with Goodcover
The Bay Area is a beautiful place to call home. However it’s also filled with natural disasters like fire and earthquakes. In 2019 Six Degrees Society Founder, Emily Merrell, found out that lightening does in fact strike twice. Her SF based apartment burned down in a freak accident and her October nuptials were evacuated due to the Kincaid fires in Sonoma.
As the #1 advocate for all things insurance and now disaster preparedness, Emily and Six Degrees Society are partnering up with California based rental insurance Goodcover to put together a panel on disaster prepardeness and how to navigate those monthly insurance payments that can save you top dollar if something does happen. The panelists include Chris Lotz, co-founder of Goodcover, Kate Ellis-Hill, founder of The Disaster Gal, and Kate Stillwell, founder of Jumpstart to discuss making a plan, what to do in disaster and how to navigate the world of insurance. It’s all happening at Werqwise.
Prior to the programming we will kick off the evening with curated networking and meet one guest that is handpicked for you to meet for 15 minutes based on the bio you fill out. Please fill out this form with your bio (https://forms.gle/FajLbN5HND1k2qH6A) before the event.
